Laptop won't turn on. It worked the last time it was used and was shut down normally. With AC adapter plugged in it shows a power light but no other lights. No sounds of any kind when you hit power button.

I have removed the battery and AC power and held down the power button for over a minute. I have removed the hard drive, dvd drive, memory and wireless adaptor and tried the power button with no results.

Might diag the power switch circuit if you can.

The issue is laptops are not standard and there is little info. To make things worse is how laptops control power to almost every part of the system, unlike a pc they have to watch every bit of power to make the battery last.
