Laptop won't turn on after plugging in USB Hu

Specs: Windows 7
I had 5 devices plugged in a USB hub. A ext hard drive, phone and ipod charger, printer, and mouse dongle. None of the devices were detected by my computer but I could hear the hard drive spinning and my phone was charging. I thought maybe all the devices werent getting enough power so I took the power cord out of the hard drive and plugged it into the USB hub which sounds pretty stupid now. But after that my laptop shut off and it wont go back on. No lights or fans go on. Ive tried removing the power and battery and holding the power button for 30secs and reseating everything but it still doesnt work. Any other ideas on how to fix it? thanks guys

Explain what power supply you plugged into the USB hub. Was it a second USB cable from the laptop to the hard drive?

Did you disconnect all the USB devices from the laptop?

The power supply was the power supply that plugged into the tb hard drive. It has an output of 12v and 1500mA. it was weird too because after the laptop wasnt turning on i took out the laptop power supply but left the usb hub plugged into the laptop with the hard drive power supply plugged into it and the laptop battery charger light and sleep light lit up but it still didnt turn on. After leaving the usb hub plugged in for a little it stopped doing that too. Ive tried disconnecting all the usb devices and it doesnt work.

i dont know why the usb hub came with the power supply input and no cord for it. Maybe the different voltage or amps of the two power supplys messed something up. The laptop power supply has an output of 19V and 3.42A.

"i dont know why the usb hub came with the power supply input and no cord for it".

Are you sure the port is a power connection? Definitely sounds like you blew something out. This is beyond our help. Take the laptop to a repair shop.
