Hi, I bought a Laptop yesterday a Toshiba Satelite A30, it has xp on it i know this as i tested the laptop all working fine... If you know the model this will over heat and turn its self off. I tried to format the laptop it was working then it just shut off! overheat probably. i try to turn it back on and i get 3 messages...

"PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable"
"PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM"
"Invalid Partition Table"

it wont boot up with the discs or without..

i can go into setup and boot hardrive etc.. but i dont know how to use all that!

please help.. im 16 so not a comp expert.. non of my family know nothing bout them!

i also have msn.. its the same email as above

Since it's a Toshiba, I'd just reinstall the operating system with the Recovery CD(s) you got with the unit when you bought it.

If it still misbehaves after that, take it in to your nearest Toshiba ASP and have them look at it.

did u have this problem...?

i tried doin this.... but at 1st it wouldnt read the discs... but now it does.. so improving... also i tried formating it and it frezzes i think... but everythime i try it gets further..
