Laptop won't boot or enter BIOS

OS: win 98
CPU/Ram: K6-2 32Mb RAM

I have eSlate 450k E-machines laptop. It won't boot, can't enter BIOS and just stay on start up screen. It say that all is Ok - memory test pass, is found CD, FDD and HDD, but can't continue. Can someone help please?

Usually by hitting the <del> key at the emachine splash screen will get you into the BIOS settings in MOST eTowers or the <F2> with the eSlate.

Yes, it is F2 for BIOS, but when press it, it just say: "Entering BIOS..." and stay there.

I had a problem like that on my pc and it was that the cache was set wrong. As soon as i set it correctly everything worked. So, i wouldtry resetting your bios.

Would someone be kind enough to explain how I can reset the BIOS on this thing? (eSlate 450k)
