I have a sony vaio laptop model PCG-9J1L. last night when I was on the net, the screen suddenly went blue and powered down. Then it tried to restart itself. It keeps trying to restart, flashes the sony screen then turns off and repeats that sequence. Any idea why this is happeneing?

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode? Do you have an XP Install CD?

Blue screens can only mean two thinkgs on a PC. Corrupt software or a defective HDD. On a Mac there are contolers on the MOBO that can cause a blue screen. In you case, you need to reload your OS if that does not fix your problem you need to RPL the HDD. Period.
