Working on an i-buddie A929 notebook. Cannot boot. It seems to be stuck in suspend mode. On boot, the suspend LED is lit, the drives spin then stop. No display, black screen. I've tried removing the RAM and drives, pulling the power cord... There is no battery to remove so I can't try that. Any ideas?? I have a BIOS update for this problem but I can't boot it from a disk or any way to install the update! VERY frustrating.

Sounds like the processor or power supply. May be time to see a specialist; though you could check the voltage on your own.
