MY laptop speakers (internal ones) have broken and no sound is comeing out. I have chekced to see if its muted which its not. It also doesnt work when i use headphones either. I have a Toshiba A30 laptop with Intel Celeron. The most sound i can get out is cracks and pops with the volume high and very bassy music....Please help me!
in control panel choose system, then choose hardware tab, then device manager. in there you should find drivers listed under "sound video and game". if you see an astericks there is a driver problem. remove the device and reboot. windows will see the missing driver and attempt to reinstall driver. you must have the proper driver from the manufacturer's website. (they may even have setup instructions) good luck bob
I seem to have the same problem, i was listening to music with my headphones on and i droped my laptop, now my speakers wont work but i can hear sound if i plug in my headphones, diminished but i can hear it, anyone got any ideas?
