Laptop shuts down randomly

Specs: Windows XP SP2, 1.4 GHZ/512 MB

I have a Dell Latitude D600 w/ Pentium M 1.4 Ghz Centrino Processor and 512 MB RAM and 30 GB HD. OS, i have Windows XP Home SP2. Now about a month ago, my laptop started acting weird. Sometimes it would just completely shut down all of a sudden. The only thing i think that was common everytime the laptop shut down was that it moved. For example, if i was in bed and i had the laptop on my lap, if i would move it a certain way it would shut off. Also for testing purposes, i sometimes applied some pressure on the bottom side of the laptop to see if that was the reason that the laptop was shutting down and a few times it did. But yesterday, my laptop was on and then all of a sudden, it shut down completely. I tried to press the power button to turn it on but nothing happened (like the power button just stopped working) . I checked the battery but the battery power was full. Then i unscrewed the laptop from the bottom side and opened it up just to see if i could figure something out. I opened it up a just little bit (didn't open up inside of the laptop all the way) so that i could only peek inside the laptop narrowly and then i closed it and tightened all the screws. And then i tried to start it up, the power button worked. Now i have no idea why that worked. When i opened the inside of the laptop, i didn't even do anything. I didn't touch anything inside the laptop. i didn't touch the motherboard, or any other inner parts of the laptop. Now the laptop turns on but the problem still exists. If i move the laptop a certain way or press the bottom part of the laptop then sometimes it shuts down. PLEASE HELP!!!

Additional Info: I ran a dell diagnostic utility for hardware. Everything passed. The motherboard, Processor e.t.c. all passed the test. Also right now i am using this laptop to add this message to this forum. Also If i keep this laptop in a stationary place and not move it at all, then it works great, no problems at all.

I talked with a few friends and they say there might a connection problem inside the laptop like there is a loose connection which is causing this intermittent problem.

Somebody out there please give me your opinion or ideas !!!!!!!!!
