Laptop shell

I am interested in building a new laptop because I find that throughout the industry each model is missing something or it costs 5000 dollars.. could someone tell me where to just purchase the shell and power supply??

I dont know of anyone that sels the shells for laptops.

The problem is that each motherboard is made diferent and will not fit a basic generic shell.

The cost of parts for trying to build your own will be huge.

Most laptop MoBo's go for $600-1000 the screens are about the same.

So you can have $1200-2000 in it for just 2 parts.... ummm ouch!

What all are you looking for in a laptop?

buy a used laptop 166mhz for 150.00 and gut it. There is your shell and ps

Go to www.pricewatch.com.

Click laptops and then look at the Barebones laptops. Select what you want, add what you need.

why not with alienware laptops. they performe really good and cost less than $3,000.00 plus you can customize it the way you want.
