I am interested in building a new laptop because I find that throughout the industry each model is missing something or it costs 5000 dollars.. could someone tell me where to just purchase the shell and power supply??

I dont know of anyone that sels the shells for laptops. The problem is that each motherboard is made diferent and will not fit a basic generic shell. The cost of parts for trying to build your own will be huge. Most laptop MoBo's go for $600-1000 the screens are about the same. So you can have $1200-2000 in it for just 2 parts.... ummm ouch! What all are you looking for in a laptop?

why not with alienware laptops. they performe really good and cost less than $3,000.00 plus you can customize it the way you want.
