yes i have a toshiba satellite A100 laptop and the rightt side of the screen has a black band or strip about 2 inches wide i can't get rid of it
i tried an external monitor- worked great i tried booting in safe mode- stil the same formatted and reinstalled windows xp-still the same i tested the backlight - nice and bright
