Had a working Toshiba M35X-S349 notebook. Carefully took it apart to replace an internal fan. Put it all back together and now there is no display on the LCD. Took apart again to confirm, reassembled and still nothing. All of the plugs are connected, grounded, oriented the right way. Did not bang around the screen. Can it go bad just like that? Any suggestions would help. Thanks

How did you take it apart? Did you use and follow any authorized documents from Toshiba ?

Most likely you didn't connect something correctly. If an external output then try that. Can you see anything? Even might have to use a flashlight to see if the screen lcd part works. The light is normally one or more lamps. Almost all of them have a hot key that can turn off the lamp, factory would know for sure, I doubt you were able to enter it.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.

If that's true then remember fixing laptops is never meant to be DIY.

Remove the main battery and the AC adapter. Re-seat the ram and the hard drive. Restore power. Try it.
