Comment:

I've somehow changed the resolution on my laptop. It seems to be in the region of 800x600.
The problem is that because of this setting I am unable to change it back to normal, everything seems to be 'off the screen', I want to go to 'Display Properties - Settings - Screen Resolution' but can't see it or anything to be able to select.

I was wondering if there is a shortcut to get to the Screen Resolution settings directly or if it is possible to enter a command to change the resolution back, if not I'll have to play around with the cursor to see if I can 'select without seeing', if you see what I mean.

Any ideas please, it's driving me nuts, now got a new laptop that I can't use.

With your mouse anywhere on the desktop screen, right click and select properties.
Select the settings tab and you can re-adjust your res.

If you can't fix it, blow it up and deny that you saw anything.

You need to get to the equivalent of Win 9x safe mode. Then reset the screen to 640 x 480 and reboot and change the resolution up step bt step until it just fills the screen.

Normally you can change the resolution but just can't see the OK button. If that's the case hit the <Return> key on the keyboard. It will substitute for the OK button.
