Laptop ram running slow?

Hewlett-packard / Dv6 1210sa

Specs: Windows 7, X26000/ 4GBDDR800
I have a HP Dv-6 laptop with a QL-65 processor and 4GB of PC6400 ram (800mhz.)Core speed fluctates between 1000 and 2000 with a multiplier of 5.25 or 10.5 depending on core speed but the bus speed is 200 and it clearly shows in CPU-z that I have 6400 ram and it shows the latencies etc for 400mhz. However it always seems to be running at 333mhz. I can see no settings in the BIOS for adjusting ram or processor settings. Is there some fault here and is there any way of getting it running at the full speed?
I have 2x2GB sticks both same speed.

There's nothing wrong. The memory controller built-in to the QL-65 processor only supports up to DDR2-667 @ 333MHz, therefore DDR2-800 will auto-underclock to 333MHz.

Cheers Jam...seems a bit silly to advertise the specs of the machine as PC6400 and to put same speed Ram in the machine if it can't actually run it at that speed.
Oh well, at least I know it is intended.
Thanks.
Is there any way of speeding it up to make the most of its performance or does this involve overclocking the processor?
