i have a laptop pentium 1 with 16MB Ram and i was working on it one day and the keyboard keep falling out of the spot that it pluges in to and after i was done i plug the keyboard back in to it's spot and the keyboard would not respond should i just trash it or can it be fix and if not sould i just us the xturnal keyboard spot insted of trashing it. thank you.

First of all you should learn to use some punctuation, making the entire post in one sentence is hard for us to understand.
Keyboards are not hot-swapable, meaning that you can't disconect/connect them when the computer is running.
You might got lucky and with a reboot the system will work fine. If not than you probably damaged you PS2 port (maybe even keyboard). In this situation i recomand you to use an USB keyboard.
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice...

Reading the post a couple of times it sounds like he means the actual keyboard that's part of the laptop! These can normally be replaced, depending on the model, but it's best to take it to a tech who deals with laptops as they shouldn't just 'fall out' so it needs looking at properly.
If you do want to save cash then you may be able to use an external keyboard in the PS2 port but these were meant primarily for attaching mice on these older machines. Still keyboards are only a few punds/dollars so it's worth a try."I know that I'm mad - I've always been mad..."
