My old laptop has two PCMCIA slots and I want to add a USB card. I can't see there is enough room to physically install it along with my wireless ethernet and be able to use them at the same time. Are there adapters/extensions available?

The purpose of the design of the double height cards is deliberate.

It isn't possible to activate the second slot, as the first card is using ALL the resources available to both.

If you are lucky, it may be possible to find a cheap docking station with addition PC Card slots or USB ports inbuilt.

Without specific info on your Laptop PC I really am at a loss to assist any further,
