I traveled from WY to NH via airplane and packed my Lenovo laptop X201 in my suticase with plenty of protection. It now will not power on even when plugged in. Any suggestions? it worked perfectly before i left and i shut it all down before packing
i would have carried it with me cause of the way they throw things round in baggage.you coulld try removing battery and power cord and then pressing and holding power button down for 20 seconds .but kind of doubtful since it wont power on i would alert then about this and see what they suggest to do.then probably take it in to your computer place and see what they say about maybe if were mishandled in baggage
Yep, bad call to pack it in a suitcase (have you seen how baggage crews throw them around? Plus, suitcases are targeted by some crews for expensive goodies they can steal when they are loading/unloading).
