Turned the computer off one day (never had a previous problem with the unit) - tried to turn it on later same day and nothing happened. No power light on when battery or AC plugged in. Bought new battery and bought new power adapter and still no power light or antyhing - totally dead. Any help is appreciated...
A componant in the laptops power conversion unit has blown (a diode or somesuch) your normal pc repairer won't be able to fix but an electronics engineer should. Prepare for a hefty bill, it might not be economic. Even with the fault it will still sell on ebay
