Hello peeps,

Gota simple question for ya, I got an alienware Area51 M5500 with a Pentium M 780 @ 2.2Ghz and it currently has 1x 2Gb ddr2 533mhz. Now if i was to slap 2x 1Gb DDR2 800Mhz will i see alil increase is speed and respond time.

Very little, in fact you would be wasting your money as the computer will only be able to use a little over 3Gbs.

You will never get to use the full 4 Gbs in a 32 bit operating system like Windows XP.

ok from what i can tell im getting a 1:2 ratio in Cpu-id, Now I am not a intel fanboy so this is all new to me, Now what I have read is intel runs better on a 1:1 ratio, So do i need to increase my memory speed, to get to this 1:1 ratio.
