Hi guys, I have an old laptop (Toshiba Satelite Pro 490XCDT) and i am thinking about upgrading the punity hdd to at least a 10gb but i have been warned that since it is an old laptop it may not support anything over 8gb, so bewfore i purchase an old hdd off ebay i upgraded the bios and i looked in the manual and everything but cant find any info anywhere indicating the max size of this laptops hdd?
How can i find out (without buying a hdd) if i can upgrade my puny drive before upgrading it?
