Hi there,
This is my first post anywhere on the internet about this issue, I found computing.net to be quite helpful in the past few weeks (especially about that actulice worm), thanks to you all smart folks out there!
I just purchased my HP Pavilion ZE5500 laptop from BestBuy last November, regrettably, I did not get "insurance" on it. The computer's worked fine until the last few weeks, I notice very minor flickers in the screen.
It even does it when I don't touch the computer, so I know it's not my typing that's provoking it :-/
There aren't any wires that I know of, and would like to find out what the best solution is to it. I still have the receipt, but I doubt I can take it back to BestBuy after it's been 6 months already.
Perhaps I should take it in to have it looked at by some computer folks, but you know how that is... Maybe it's just a simple driver issue...
Anyway, any ideas? I've included the URL photo of my laptop while traveling by train to give you guys a better picture of what kind it is.
HEEELllP!!!

With a nice laptop like that, you have no excuse for not getting some kinda warranty to go with it...;~(.
Anyway this link might help you.

The greatest risk is not taking one

If you've only had it for 6 months it should still be under HP warranty - give them a call first before getting an outside source involved as it may invalidate your claim.
