Is it possible to upgrade graphics in a laptop. I have a HP Pavillion ze4719ea notebook with a radeon igp 320M.
I know it is probably obvious but I am a newbie.
Any help would be cool.
Cheers.

I've got a bad feeling about this.

No, it has integrated graphics - built into motherboard.

Cheers. I thought as much. Other forums, which shall remain nameless, have been less than helpful and in one case quite offensive. It is nice to find a forum where people are friendly and helpful.

One other quick thing, could I up the ram on the same laptop?

I've got a bad feeling about this.

Any lappy worth it's salt should allow you to up the ram.
I have 128 built in with a slot for an extension of upto a gig.
Turn it over mate and have a look at what you have.
However bear in mind what type of ram you need take a look at the paperwork that came with it or download AIDA to determine your full system specs.

The HP should have a panel on the bottom that reveals extra memory slots and hopefully the one that the existing RAM uses. I have an older HP that had 64MB on the mb that could not be upgraded and only one extra slot. The hardest to access is my daughters Toshiba that has to have the keyboard and access cover removed to access the upgrade slot. Anyway it should be easy to do, just follow the suggestion of wolfeymole and make sure the stick is the right one for your laptop.
Good luck

Richard
