I have a Compaq Presario 710 laptop, and the fan for some reason won't go on. My computer overheats and then shuts down. It is off-warranty and before taking it into a shop, would you advise me opening the computer and checking the fan? I'm an artist and have good manual dexterity. Thanks in advance for your help!!
