Solved laptop camera can't be turned on

Specs: windows8
my asus inbuilt l/top camera cant be turned on;it is installed and enabled but as no app. or
icon is visible i'm at a loss.It is not in recycle bin as one respondent suggested and when
I access icon via programmes the only option is to uninstall;there being no facility to drag
and create shortcut N.B.drivers are up to date many thanks to those trying to assist

found solution myself-click on e-manual app scroll down left side pane to
lifeframe;from there it's intuitive;when functional camera light will come on
& lifeframe icon will appear in toolbar
