I have a laptop that is shot but the screen is still in perfect working order, and I have properly detached the screen from the motherboard and laptop.
What I would like to know is if its possible to get an adapter or something that will allow me to hookup the screen to the video card on my desktop compter.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thank you Kindly.

I really doubt it. Just on the logical point of view. Many laptops have an exterior monitor connector in order for you to use your laptop on a larger screen, but to hook up your desktop to a laptop screen is kinda going backwards. Don't think there's too much of a market for that.
Just my opinion Ray

I do not believe it would be worth doing, but if you were able to get the wiring diagram for the screen's data cable and power cable, then you could cut off the proprietary plugs and solder on a db15hd and find a power suply. The biggest obstacle seems to be the pinouts and the power.
