Hi!
Is it possible to plug 5.1 speakers in to following laptop?
ASUS A3500E (a.k.a. A5003E)
The audio chip is Realtek HD Audio. Today I installed the newest driver (1.25) but I still can not choose 5.1. There are only two options: 2CH Speakers and Headphones.
I connected three mini-jacks into speaker, mic and line-in input but I don't know how to make them work. The only one that play is 2 front spks and [mayby] swoofer. I'm not able to send signal to mic and lin-in.
Can ypu help me?
Thanks in advance!

Go to control panel-sounds and audio devices-audio tab-sound playback module-advanced button-drop down, if no 5.1 is available there, your outta luck.

Sound blaster does offer a pcmcia card for 5.1.
