I have a 1TB LaCie BIG DISK USB2 7200RPM 8MB drive. My issue according to others is that its a LaCie drive lol. I bought this drive in 2007 and have had to replace the power supply 3 times now due to pc not recognizing the drive and a flashing blue light on the front. Well this last power supply I ordered didnt fix the problem. What I would like to do is take out the 2 500 GB drives out of the enclosure and put them in my pc to see if I can get the files off of it, but I am not too sure how to do this without messing up the drives and/or files that are hopefully still there. They may be hosed already, or it could be just a goofy enclosure since i have had multiple power issues from the beginning. Any thoughts?

It woud have been nice if you'd have provided some info about which power supplies you've been using. If you've paying less than $50, you're probably buying garbage.
