L2 Cache on Athlon XP2200

wcpuid reports the L2 cache of my Athlon XP2200+ as only 64K?! It should be 256 K shouldn't it?
I have a Giagabyte Ga-VAX Motherboard with the new KT 400 chipset. The BIOS Doesn't have an option to enable or disable L2 cache (As far as I could find). Is there anyway to change the settings etc using win xp?
Does anyone know why the cache was reported like that? Let me know your thoughts and solutions please.
