Specs: Windows Vista
I have a Dell Studio 1535 Black Notebook that suddenly developed some keyboard problems.
When I press the keys 2, 3, w, e, s, d, x, c, the letter that is next to them also appears.

For example, when the "s" key is pressed, the letters "sd" shows up. So:
s- sd
d- sd
w- we
2- 23
3- 23
x- xc
c- xc

The first time this happened, I blew on the keys and there was no longer a problem. However when I turned it on the next day, the problem occurred again and has been happening ever since.
Please help! I've already removed the keys and cleaned underneath the keys so I don't know what else to do.

Looks like the column decoder has a short. You might try removing the keyboard and check clear more. The cable connector might be dirty or misaligned. A chip may have gone bad.

You might need to replace the keyboard.

Apparently there is more than one possible part number.
The part number may be on the back of it, or you may be able to look up which part number is in your exact model on the Dell site.

New, ships from Hong Kong, UK layout:

Used, part number 0TR324
