Everytimr I on my computer, I have to type in my
password . Today when I tried typing my password ,
nothing came out . I tried many differnt keyboards and
nothing came out. It's USB keyboard . None of the
buttons I typed on the keyboard came out. Help , what's
the problem?

Before going into the blue place (to choose users), I could
press for caps lock . But at theblue place, it seemed hang.
By "the blue place," I assume you mean the field where you type your password. Try this first: power off the PC, then unplug the keyboard from the PC base, plug it back in, and then reboot the PC. Then see if your keyboard allows you to type in your password. (If this happens to be a USB keyboard, then after you unplug it, try plugging it into a different USB port before rebooting the PC.) Post back & let us know if this works.

Sorry I didn't go back & read your first post ... just noticed it's a USB keyboard. When you tried other keyboards, did you always plug it into the same USB port, or did you try other ports? Also, have you tried plugging in other USB devices (memory sticks, mice, etc.) to see if they work?
Try to boot into Windows Safe Mode by tapping F8 at start up.
I tried plugging it in to the other USB port and it still doesn't
work
When I went into safe mode, the keyboard still doesn't work
and there was the user "administrator" which doesn't require
password . I went in there and then something popped out
saying this wizard helps you install software for USB keyboard
. I clicked installed the software automatically . Then it said "
the hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find
the necessary software.
Do I have to let the comp rest for a few days ?
check the BIOS setting and Enable the DOS function USB function, I hope you will get good result. If not, than Enable all USB ports Enable in the BIOS and Save setting through pressing F10.
Sorry I'm a comp noob, how do I check for the Bios setting
You don't need to reset anything in the BIOS to make a USB device work in Windows. Have you told us the whole story? Did you re-install WinXP?
It sounds like you don't have the motherboard chip set drivers installed.
But it was working fine for the past 2 years
You may have received a hardware update from Windows Updater that pooched your drivers. I NEVER allow Windows to update any hardware.
What should I do now:(
Try a system restore to back before the problem started.
How do I do thT
Go to Start> help and support> System restore. Choose a highlighted date that is before the problem. If the restore doesn't help then undo it.
How do I undo it and do I do that at the safe mood in the
administrator , since I can't type pass in my own user
Have you tried a different keyboard? If the present keyboard is not working then how did you get into Windows Safe Mode?
Try connecting another keyboard to the computer try connecting the keyboard to the USB port the mouse is currently connected to
just because one USB port is working does not mean the others will
