keyboard wont work on startup

i have a problem when i install my internal scsi cd burner. at the startup before windows it says press ctrl+i to start scsi utility setup. that tells me that i installed the cd buner correctly and the buner is on and can open but i cant press ctrl+i becausemy keyboard wont work. so im astuck there. when i take out the burner the keyboard works. does anyone know wats wrong? maybe its conflicting or soemthing?

actually the cd burner (yamaha cd-rw) comes with a scsi card. i installed the scsi card and attached the cable to the cd burner.

i am still able to hit the key del to enter bios setup but when the invio scsi setup utility comes up telling me to press ctrl+i then i cant use the keyboard. someone help me please
