Try removing and reinserting the keyboard plug at the PC.
If this doesn't work, go out and get a new keyboard.

It could be a motherboard BIOS setup problem. Some boards have a setting in BIOS that controls the clock speed used by the keyboard controller on the systemboard. Go into BIOS setup and look for it. If found, try setting it to a slower speed. You will not notice a difference and it might solve your problem if the keyboard is not quite fast enough to work at the higher interface speed.
