Hi all.
My Dell USB keyboard stopped working for no apparent reason. No changes to any part of the system were made, it just stopped working. In the device manager it was shown as a 'HID KEYBOARD', with a driver error, removing it and plugging it again didn't work either, it detected it but couldn't install it.
Anyway, went out and bought a Compaq PS/2 kb. It doesnt work either! Although works fine in BIOS,once in windows (XP), num light is on but pressing any key just makes the mouse inoperative although windows itself doesnt freeze.
