keyboard issue

My beautiful grand daughter, who's 1, decided to type. Now, in order to use my dell Inspiron 1501, i have to hold the FN key down to type. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Hey check wether the Num lock is turned on, left to the turn on button you can see an icon with a lock symbol with number 9 ,check wether it's on,if it's on ,tap the "Num lock button" once ,( num lock button will be right above the "F11" Key ) , after turning off the Numlock ,you can enjoy ur computer

Forgot to mention, when I don't hold down the FN key, when I type I get the numbers 62.
