I have a second computer and am curious if anyone else had come across a similar problem. When I hit the spacebar in Internet Explorer it drops down the internet page history, when i hit the space bar in AIM it opens up the print option, and when i hit the space bar in microsoft word it will type the word i just typed twice. So this is causing me to not be able to anything with my other computer. Oh and it't not just the space bar, other keys act up occasionally as well. I would like to know if this could be caused by a virus or any other problem. Or if there is any information as to how to fix my problem. It happened almost immediately after I had cable internet installed as well. If it is a virus, can the effects be reversed or am I forced to format my HD? Thanks for any help ahead of time.

Yup, CTRL key is stuck.
As in CTRL+SPACE=scroll down SHIFT+SPACE=scroll up and as in walt - try another keyboard.
As you've seen, CTRL+another key will do different things in different programs.

Try picking up the keyboard, turning it upside down and giving it a good shake. If it is anything like mine, you will be surprised what falls out. Crumbs, tabbaco shreds, dead spiders!
