I'll be typing a message, and all of these windows start popping up(the find dialog box, search, etc). Even when I don't type, it just does IT PERIODICALLY TOO> ~Apparently it thinks I'm pressing things like f7 and highlighting text whenever I move the mouse. And all of these weird characters show up that I didn't even type.
I think it's something I pressed on the keyboard that did this, has to be. Help please! I had to keep trying to retype this message because it's so messed up.

swap your keyboard with another keyboard from a machine that is known to be working. be sure machine is off when adding/removing cables.

It sounds like you changed your keyboard language, like you told Windows that you're using a French keyboard or something. Go to Control Panel>Regional/Language>Languages tab>Details button under text services, then, if this is what the problem is, there should be some other language listed there that you don't want to be using. Select it and click Remove.

I checked the language settings, and they were fine. So I went under the hood and disconnected the internal keyboard on my laptop, and plugged in an extra USB one that I had bought before because the keyboard was a wreck back then too.
It fixed the problem as I can see no errors so far. From my experience Dell Inspiron's are a total hassle :\
