ok so I have a PS/2 keyboard hooked up via a usb to my comp..and im trying to go to the actual WinXp setup since my comp needs its sytem32/config file fixed up. However it doesnt let me press any key...because on the screen where your supposed to choose R for repair or Enter for continue, the keyboard gets an error...as shown in the POST even log. The only key that does seem to work is num lock..because it lights up when i press it....none of the other locks work..any help would be greatly appreciated

No but the uh usb keyboard doesnt work with the port. thats why i was recommended to use a ps/2 one. However, since i dont have an actual ps/2 port on my computer i had to use a usb to ps/2 adapter...so yeah
