I just upgraded my motherboard to an ECS p4vmm2 motherboard but my keyboard and mouse won't work in the ps/2. They will only work in the usb ports.
Any idea how to enable the ps/2.... Thanks

Hi,

One common mistake is to accidentlly reverse the mouse and the keyboard connections. Try switching the cables around and see if that works.

The ECS mobo either have a jumper on the mobo close to the CPU or it may be in the BIOS. At any rate you will have to enable PS/2 for it to function. I'm pretty sure it's a jumper on the mobo. It's been about 6 months since I have worked with these boards, and I have work quite a few different ones since then, so I'm about as clear as mud on that. Your mobo manual should steer you in the right direction. Might be advisable to revisit the manual.
Sorry.
