I am having problems with the K7VM2 (ASROCK) Motherboards. We bought 30 and have tried installing XP on 5 so far. XP installs fine, I then install the VIA chipset drivers - fine. I then get to the VGA drivers (S3). They seem to install ok, but as soon as the machine is rebooted, it gets to Windows XP (after the spash screen), the screen flickers (like it is change the refresh rate) and the computer promptly reboots. This loop continues. Win XP VGA mode does not work. Safe mode works. Tried installing an older version of the driver, same problem. The standard Win XP gfx drivers are ok, but I need the proper drivers installed for gfx rendering (DVD movies etc.). Have tried installing drivers in a different order, and through dev man rather than the setup on the driver CD. No luck. I assume it is not a hardware fault - 4 out of 4 do the same thing. I have 30 computers built with these specs and need to know what to do to get them to work properly!Any help greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Paul

WinXP has a cute way of avoiding the BSOD. Instead of displaying an error message it reboots. To see what the error is causing the reboot, do the following:
Start->Control Panel->System->Advanced->StartUp and Recovery->Settings->. Then under "System Failure" uncheck "Automatically restart".
