Folks,

I am hoping that someone out there can help me. Due to my own foolishnesh, (and a little help frommisleading references in the owners manual), I have applied power to my motherboard with the CMOS clear jumper (JP1) in the "clear" position.

My computer now refuses to display any output upon power on.

Can someone confirm that the motherboard fries when this occurs before I buy a new one? (ie. it is not only logic levels that cross this jumper.)

Thanks!

Tor,

I have done this, and the system passed
its POST once. I went into Bios, and it
froze on the second menu. Reseting the
machine thereafter has resulted in it
failing to pass POST.

Help!
