I have the K7SEM 1.0 motherboard. I have never had to change anything in BIOS. I have used several Nvidia cards in it. Currently I am using an ABIT GeForce3 ti200 64MB video card.
Change from from onboard video to standard VGA: 1) Right-click on desktop 2) Select Properties 3) Select Settings 4) Select Adapter 5) Select Change 6) Select Next 7) Select Display All Devices 8) Select Next 9) Select Show All Hardware 10) Select (Standard display types) 11) Select Standard Display Adapter (VGA) 11) Select Next 12) Continue until done...
Add Nvidia video card: 1) Shutdown 2) Insert Nvideo graphics card 3) Reboot (may have to do twice) 4) Video now is switched over to Nvidia card 5) Install Nivdia driver 6) Reboot
