Have recently upgraded an older system which is a K7S5A by updating the bios and installing an AMD 2600 266FSB CPU, this board also has (2) DDR 266 Ram memory cards and an Nvidia GeForce 6600 video card and Creative SB Live 5.1 sound card.
Have the CPU Speed set at 133/133 and the CPU is running at 2.12GHz with a CPU temperature of 114F and system temperature of 80F, the CPU Core Voltage is 1.648v and everything seems fine for the most part although when playing Battlefield 2 for instance, which is set on medium to low settings, the game seemed to be a little jerky for a short time and then would play fine, although this seemed to occur after dropping the game to the taskbar to check on something else and then go back to playing.
Before the AMD 2600 CPU, I had a AMD 1800 CPU with the CPU speed at 133/133 installed and dont recall the problem.
Should I go with Crucial DDR memory cards, or get a better power supply or upgrade the video card and which Nvidia Geforce video card will the K7S5A max out at?
Thank you.

Correction:
(2) DDR 266 Ram memory cards; sorry that was supposed to be: (2) DDR 512 Ram memory cards. The current (2) DDR 512 Ram memory cards are PC2100's, what is the max that I can get that will work in the K7S5A? For example PC2700 or higher perhaps.

What would be the point of getting PC2700? Your system runs at 133MHz & doesn't support 166MHz, so it would clock it down to PC2100 speed anyway. And what would a new PSU do for you? Unless your current PSU is underpowered or cheap generic crap, you'd just be wasting your money.
"CPU temperature of 114F and system temperature of 80F"
We generally refer to temps in Celsius in these forums. 27C (80F) for the system temp is fine, but if the CPU temp of 46C (114F) is at idle, it's running fairly warm. How many case fans do you have & how are they arranged? Make sure your HSF is installed properly & that you didn't use too much paste...here's the instructions:

Make sure you're running the lastest available drivers for the SiS735 chipset also. You should install the "AGP(GART) driver" & "IDE driver":

Run anti-virus & anti-spy scans to ensure your system is clean, run MSCONFIG & disable unnecessary startup apps from loading, use CCleaner regularly, defrag your drive regularly.
As for a video card upgrade, that's up to you. Do you feel it's worth investing $100+ in an a machine with a board that's almost 7 years old? Even a current low end eMachines will outperform what you have.

BTW, don't rule out ATI cards:

Yes it is, and according to the manufacturers website, it is the fastest CPU available for the K7S5A board.
Like I already said, its an older system and I have alot of spare parts or access to them.
