Hey people, i have already posted this before. I thank you for your time... i need some help with finding out how to open up this jetta laptop. Like some instructions or something like that. I opened it last time, but i couldnt even get the fan off, everything is like glued to each other... NO screws nothing.... it is just glued!... but there should be some king of solutiong, because i took to be looked at once, and they opened it up pretty easily. I dont know they may have glued or something like that. Could someone direct me on how to open JETTA JETBOOK 7700. I would really appreciate that. And by the way from the post yesterday about this issue, i was told that memory is upgradable to 384, that means that there are two slots for the memory... where i already have 128 mb, and i will buy 256 and put it in. THank you so much for your time...

You may be wrong about the memory slots. 384MB is an odd number to divide by 2. I would guess there is 1 - 128MB soldered in and two slots available. Each slot would allow 128MB for a total of 384MB. This is why you were told to get the manual. These things are in there. If I am right and you install a 256MB module in may not work. If it does it will work as 128. There is another issue of memory density, which was never addressed at all. I told you before that I never heard of that brand. Jam found out the memory capacity so there should be a manual available. Google is your friend. Do some of your own legwork.

"384MB is an odd number to divide by 2"

I found several sites that said 320MB was the max. It said there was 64MB plus one memory slot which would take up to 256MB.

The Jetta website says differently though & that's the info you should go with:

"128MB on board and upgradeable to 384MB (SDRAM)"

Here's the site that has all your drivers & BIOS updates:
