I suggest that instead of just linking that you actually post the hardware here using full model numbers.

You are listing a bunch of stuff that doesn't matter. Where is the PSU, processor, CPU cooler, Motherboard, RAM, Hard drives, etc.

What is Sky?

Pretty sure jam will tell you the same thing if he catches this thread.

Custom built PC is NOT enough detail.

I'm not JAM and I know he lives for this sh*t, but I think he might suggest another Mobo. This Mobo had the southbridge 700 chipset and I know they have newer versions of this out now. Also the 1066 ram speed is only compatible with certain processors. I couldn't tell from the description of the mobo on the page you posted, which processors support that ram. I'm too lazy 2day to look it up too. Anyhow, the case looks too plain jane. You didn't list a cpu cooler either. I don't know why you would want to overclock a brand new cpu, but I'm sure you have your reasons. Let's see what the master says.

I saw this thread earlier but couldn't respond. We were under a simulated dirty bomb attack (yes, really!). I checked the links in the OP but generally don't get into recommendations for cases, mice, keyboards, bluray drives, etc unless I see something way out of whack.

The main components (CPU, board, RAM, video card, PSU) are what I generally concentrate on. BTW, where is the video card in your list? The board is choice is OK but as grasshopper said, there are newer better versions of the AMD southbridge available...SB710 or SB750. There's OCZ RAM that's cheaper than the Kingston & you can probably do better on the PSU. For one thing 850W is unnecessary & I'm not sure of the quality of Powercool, plus I wouldn't even consider a PSU without 1st seeing the specs.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

The scenario was a terrorist group detonated a truck bomb outside of the downtown bus terminal. Several nearby buildings were severely damaged & nuclear material was scattered across a large area. Our building was spared the brunt of the blow but did experience some minor damage including cracked but not shattered windows. Power, telephone, internet service was knocked out, cell service was sporadic, elevators were shut down. With the exception of the command center, the building was dark, climate control was out & no one was allowed into or out of the building. Buses were to be brought in to evacuate personnel out of the danger zone & to a safe location.
