Let it dry out for a couple days and hope the moisture damage was only from the shower.

... I suggest that you remove the keyboard and use a toothbrush on the flat ribbon connection "contact".

... you may be lucky on reassembly the key may work again.

... had one fixed just by hooking it back up again!

I'd run the Dell Diagnostics CD and run the keyboard tests if it
were me. If that passes, tip laptop on it's side and blow
compressed air under the keys to dislodge any debris.

Toothbrush? :-|

Just another stupid saying...

If the laptop got wet, or was in a moist atmosphere, do not turn it on until you are 99.9% sure that it has dried out. Grab a hair drier and dry out the laptop for some time, or let it air dry near a window for a day or two. With the battery removed.

If moisture is present, then continuing to play with the laptop may cause a short and damage to the laptop.
