Specs: Windows 7, i3 gen4,4gb ram
it is not shutting down and it always displaying a circle rotating rotating and continues to go for long..........please write me solution.... and as some one said holding in the power every time button will cause mother board damage as I heard from some of my friends.,,,so give me another solution

It's usually caused by a background program (a startup item) refusing to close.

Check what's running in the notification area and try exiting one of them first, then try shutting down.

Repeat for each one until you find the offending program.

When you've found it, that program either needs to be uninstalled, or stop it loading with Windows if you really need that program.

Do you have an external hard drive connected?

If that is the case and you force a shutdown you may lose data from the external.
