i am looking to find an "adapter" to install an isa industrial communications network card into an intel d875pbz motherboard pci slot . obviously it won't work , physically or software wise with out some help . the cost of the equivalent pci card is @ $2500 . is there a supplier out the who may have a way make it work?

No such product exists as far as I know.

Why not just buy an old PC with an ISA slot for $50?

AS you would expect, there is always money to be made by doing the sort of stuff for people like yourself! So,, yes,, there are PCI to ISA converters..:o) The BIG CAVEAT IS YOU HAVE TO WRITE THE DRIVERS YOURSELF!!!

I have heard something about a MSI (http://www.msi.com.tw) P4 mb with ISA slots, maybe is the above one.

Thanks for the help folks . I took your suggestions and was able to find a company ( supermicro #p4scao) that has a 3 slot isa and 3 slot pci expansion ports running a p4 3.2 ghz ,800mhz fsb , 875 chipset ,sata . it doesn't have too much more in the way of bells and whistles but it will fit the application perfectly . next time i will do my homework a little better . I will save the d875pbz for another project . Thanks. DWM
