Good deals are a relative term. It appears to be a 7 year old Mac laptop. I've seen them cheaper and more expensive. If you just want to do web surfing and check email, it would be fine. Forget anything with graphics or games etc. Bottom line is, it's old.....

Those G4s aren't even good for web surfing. A month ago I was fixing a friend's PowerBook G4 with a 1.67GHz G4, 1GB of RAM, and a Radeon 9700 video card. I couldn't believe how sluggish that thing was on the internet, especially with Flash enabled sites. I was even more surprised to discover that it was built in 2005. An Intel/AMD based PC from 2005 feels several times faster and has no problem with Flash.

No wonder Apple ditched PowerPC (after years of lying about its performance).

Just go buy a new one.

Old suff has too many issues usually.

The battery will be bad, it will be just too slow, no one can fix it or do anything to it.

If they want to warranty it for 6 months with a solid deal then maybe but only maybe. I'd only buy it from a large company.

Old mac's are weird things.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
