The omission of a hard drive seems the most obvious thing? Oh, & then an Operating System to put on it, unless you intend to run Linux.

Why do you need a sound card? Seems like a waste of $25. Try the onboard sound, if you're not happy with it, you can always add a card later. Spend the $25 on something more important. And why do you need a 56K modem? Are you still using dial-up?

In addition to the lack of hard drive & operating system, how about a DVD burner?
