WD caviar 80gb HD , 8mb cache

Creative SB audigy OEM
MSI GEFORCE $ ti4200 128mb w/ TV-out/DVI
18" ATX-300w FRONT USB case

price is
$1350 CANADIAN
$880 AMERICAN

and my question is
will this computer be good for gaming?
will this computer be good for watching anime/movies and the like?

that power supply might be too small

i have to agree with 666 there. the power supply is too small. try 350-400w. and make sure it has dual fans. that way you'll have sufficient power for your current config and a bit more if you decide to add other components.

300W is fine for the system as is. Only upgrade the PSU if you decide to add more hard drives, fans, cd-writers, etc.
