one of my friend is going to purchase this pc..i was wondering if this is a good deal or not.
350 just doesn't seems like enough for that pc lol

It's not a great deal.
>Only an 800MHzproc, far below what is needed nowadays, especially if you game;
>No monitor;
>350 PS is minimal now for modern units;For $1000, I will build you a screamer: AMD xp2700/2GHz proc or a Barton which is very easily O/clocked up to 2.5; 1 gig pc2700 DDR RAM, terrific 19" Samsung monitor, 4 active USB2ports, 400 Watt PS, CD/DVD burner, CDROM reader, 80 GIG HD, etc.

Even after adding the cost of a new PSU and monitor, the Pentinum 3.0Ghz running a 800Mhz FSB sounds like the better deal.

it seems like a decent deal. Could get better if you looked or bought and built yourself. 5600 would hurt you though. Now i would prolly want a 5700 ultra of 9600 pro instead. also Ranch, its a 3 ghz comp. 800 front side bus. 3 ghz is way sufficient to play games :)
